Back in July 2021, the Plei App continued its expansion efforts, stepping foot for the first time in our 6th market, the DMV. 🦅 Since March 2024, we have been hosting pickup games at New York Sports Club Columbia Heights, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
DC USA - located in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington D.C. - is known for being a mind-boggling 890,000 square feet powerhouse of a shopping mall. Head to the third floor of it and you’ll find one of five New York Sports Club locations in the country, with the others being in NYC, Florida, Philadelphia and Boston. 🗺️
We’re willing to bet that you’ve never seen a gym like this before. 🤑

We hope you own a pair of indoor soccer shoes; we won’t be needing any cleats here. ❌
One of New York Sports Club’s many amenities is a full-fledged basketball court space, which also doubles as a place to play some 5-a-side futsal. When it’s time for your pickup game, the soccer nets will come out, and the basketball hoops will go up. 🔃
After that, it’s time to show off your tekkers against other D.C. ballers. 🕺
Another highlight feature of the facility is an indoor swimming pool. Whether you just want to take a quick dip or do some swimming laps as a workout, the pool at New York Sports Club is there to satisfy your desires. 🏊
Of course, this is a gym we’re talking about. Look forward to a plethora of machines that are there to help you get in the best workout possible. New York Sports Club is unmatched when it comes to offering some of the best fitness programs that you won’t find anywhere else. 👌
