In mid-2021, the Plei App expanded into our 5th region, DFW, Texas. 🤠 Another one of the pickup facilities that we have partnered with in the region is Rockwall Indoor Sports World! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
The facility we’re referring to is Rockwall Indoor Sports World, home to a number of sports, not limited to soccer/football, baseball, basketball, volleyball and American football. 🏠
We have a lot to cover so we’re going to get straight to the point in this blog. 👇
Formally known as RICE, this huge complex has been serving Rockwall and surrounding areas for over two decades and boasts both indoor and outdoor spaces. We’ll start inside and cover everything that you’ll find under their roof before we head outside. 😆
Under the roof of their 150,000 square foot building, you’ll find a total of two (2) basketball courts, four (4) volleyball courts and two (2) full-size indoor turf soccer fields. 👌
We’re obviously biased towards the beautiful game, so let’s dive more into detail about that. ⏬
These two soccer fields are sized perfectly to accommodate action-packed 7v7 fixtures. For Plei App purposes, you’ll find our pickup games on these pitches. 📲
Activities ranging from gymnastics & dancing to fitness classes are all held indoors at Rockwall Indoor Sports World. Other key amenities include a party room, a gym, a grappling area, a Refuel Station for refreshments and a full-fledged cafeteria/rest area. 😎
If you get hungry, feel free to pick from a selection of foods, including croissants, pies, hot dogs, elotes and pizzas. 🍕
That’s all for the interior of this Rockwall sports venue, so it’s time to head outdoors, just as we promised. 😅
Even more square feet on top of the original 150,000 can be found in Rockwall Indoor Sports World’s outdoor spaces. Large natural grass fields are primarily for soccer, but they can also be used for lacrosse and American football. 🌿
The best part about all of the fields and courts at this facility - both the indoor and the outdoor ones - is that they are all fully rentable. 👍
Throw in year-round youth & adult leagues for all their offered sports, and you have a certified dime of a facility. They say that they strive to be the best sports venue in the area that they serve, and Rockwall Indoor Sports World certainly lives up to that aspiration. ✨
