You heard right. Taking first place in our top players of the month for August 2022 is Felix A from South Florida. He takes the top spot after playing a whopping 27 times, which is the most games played out of all our players in one month since we began this showcase back in May (record breaker!)
Finishing in second place is Nathan V from Brazil, who plays in the South Florida region. He has come a long way in our monthly rankings and played 26 times in August, falling short to Felix by just one game! Nathan first appeared in the players of the month in June, tying for 16th place with 14 games played. In July, he improved by playing 17 games to finish 10th! Will he finally take the top spot for September after just barely missing out?
Still present in the top 5 is none other than Michael G. After taking first place two months in a row, he continued to go strong in the month of August, and secured 5th place with 22 games played, which is only two less than the amount of games he played that won him the top spot last month! Another fun fact is that 20 games played is what won Man S first place back in May, which tells us that it’s getting real competitive: more games played are being required to take the throne!
We would also like to highlight Steven Z, also active in South Florida, who takes bronze. He first appeared in the top 100 in July, placing 9th with 17 games played. This time around, he has managed 3rd place by playing 24 times, so we commend him for his efforts!
Finally, we want to shout out the rest of our top 15: Darek A, Berk S, Ryan C, Errick M, Francesco V, Man S, Jhojan M, Mesele R, Larissa D, Felipe K and Ana H!
So far all our champions have come from our South Florida region, but Houston and Dallas have also occupied spots in our top 5. However, South Florida occupied the entire top 5 in August, meaning the reign continues and is stronger than ever! Which region outside of South Florida will be the first to take first place in our players of the month rankings?
We also love to highlight the growing diversity of the Plei App community. A total of 34 different countries filled up our top 100 in August, with 10 of those countries being represented in the top 15. The “Beautiful Game” in the flesh!

4th through 15th placed players will receive 1 free game credit and 1 Free Shirt
2nd and 3rd placed players will receive 2 free game credits and 1 Free Shirt
The #1 player of the month will receive 2 free Free Shirts to wear at the games plus 2 free game credits

Overall, our top 15 players played a grand total of 295 times between them. And our top 100 players of the month played a total of 1,352 times 🤯 which is another new Plei App record!
