Plei expands to Tampa

Lightning, Buccaneers, Rays… is there any room for Plei? 😅

Way back in late 2018, the Plei App began its journey in Miami. 😎

From the 305 with love, we extended our reach to Broward County in early 2019. After briefly heading over to H-Town in mid-2019 to make our debut outside of Florida, we spun back to our home state in early 2021, this time establishing ourselves in O-Town. Back down in South Florida, we continued our dominance in late 2022, further upgrading our presence to include West Palm Beach, giving us Tri-County status. 🌴

After a lot of planning and hard work, we decided it was finally time to put down another pin in the Sunshine State. It’s been a long time coming, but we’re proud to announce that we have officially made it to Tampa, Florida! 📍

This expansion is a significant milestone for a lot of reasons, but the most important is that Tampa ballers now have a pickup soccer app at their disposal! The Plei App has been thriving in major Florida regions like South Florida and Orlando for some time now, and the introduction of Plei to Tampa brings the joy of the beautiful game to a new community of ballers hungry to step onto the pitch and enjoy their passion. 😊

Tampa Bay is known for its vibrant sports culture - boasting the likes of the Buccaneers in the NFL, the Lightning in the NHL, the Rays in the MLB and the Rowdies in the USL - as well as its diverse population, making it the perfect canvas for Plei’s dynamic platform where ballers from every corner of the city can come together, play the beautiful game and create lasting, meaningful connections. 🫂

To ease our way into the Tampa Bay pickup soccer community, we will start by partnering with a well-known multi-sport complex known as BT Sports Academy, located in Pinellas Park! You can read more about this facility in the next section. ⏭️

To introduce ourselves properly to all of our Tampa ballers, we will be offering debut pickup games at BT Sports Academy, completely for free! 🤩 Sign ups are available now, so download the Plei App from the App Store or the Google Play Store today! ⚽
