Back in March 2022, the Plei App expanded to its eighth market, Charlotte, North Carolina. 👑 We began by partnering with veteran facility Creative Player Sports, and hosted our first game there on April 8, 2022! Since then, we have been continuously hosting games there and are looking forward to continuing doing so for years to come. Creative Player Sports is currently the only facility in Charlotte on the Plei App, but we are hard at work to partner with more locations for the benefit of all our North Carolinian ballers! 😄
Established in 2002, Creative Player Sports continues to reach thousands of soccer players, both young and old, on a daily basis. Located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, Creative operates as both an indoor and outdoor venue, featuring separate fields that are best suited for 5v5 and 6v6 pickup games.
If you happen to get hungry or thirsty, Creative offers a great selection of snacks and refreshments at their facility. And if you happen to bring guests along, there are plenty of seating areas available!
Their youth soccer academy is one of the most highly acclaimed in the state. It is completely backed by the Creative Player Foundation, founded in an effort to bring a high-quality training and learning system to children coming from lower income families.
The Creative Player Foundation’s mission statement is as follows:
“Our goal is to use soccer as a tool to enhance the lives of children in need by engaging them in educational opportunities. By building community through soccer and leadership training, we seek to remove barriers by bringing children together from different ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.”
What better than to play at a soccer facility that aims to break down barriers and bring people together? The Plei App fully identifies with their mission, and we are so glad to have Creative as a partner and host games there!
