Back in March 2022, the Plei App expanded to its eighth market, Charlotte, North Carolina. 👑 We began by partnering with veteran facility Creative Player Sports, and hosted our first game there on April 8, 2022! Since then, we have been continuously hosting games there and are looking forward to continuing doing so for years to come. The next facility that we have partnered with is Crossbars Indoor Soccer. 😄

Crossbars Indoor Soccer in Gastonia does just that. Located about 17 miles west of Charlotte and just 12 miles away from the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, this indoor venue is all about exhilarating, small-sided footy. 🔥
You’ll find just one (1) artificial turf field for 4v4 and 5v5 games, but don’t let that fool you: The appeal behind Crossbars Indoor Soccer comes in the form of their eXciting menu of programming, which we’ll get into shortly. 😇
Crossbars is all about fast-paced play. Add in the climate-control, high-performance turf, netted goals, rebound wall area, spectator bleachers, sound system and social spaces, and you’ve got all the ingredients for an electric, vibrant night of football. ⚡

With a total of four different age groups, ballers of all skill levels can enjoy lively 4v4 indoor league action where they will all be guaranteed a good time. The thrill doesn’t come from just scoring goals, plenty of excitement is also found in the camaraderie with teammates and the high-spirited atmosphere of Crossbars Indoor Soccer. 🙌

The idea behind Crossbars Indoor Soccer was born when the son of the founding couple of the facility became so obsessed with the beautiful game that they could no longer keep it in the back of their minds. 😅
As his love for the game grew, so did their family’s. Eventually, the couple were tuning in to watch professional games on TV every week, even sacrificing some on date night when the 2022 World Cup was inevitably turning their heads. 📺
This soccer craze eventually turned into something more tangible; a full-fledged pickup soccer facility, designed to appreciate and cherish the beautiful game. 🥰
