Way back in July 2019, the Plei App expanded outside Florida for the first time, partnering with multiple facilities in Houston, Texas. 🚀 We are excited to announce a brand-new partnership, this time with Finesse Sports & Athletics! As part of an ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Located less than an hour away from Houston in a small town called Waller is Finesse Sports & Athletics, a facility which boasts a single outdoor turf field. ☝️
As you can probably tell by the photos, this pitch is as unusual as they come, but not in any bad way at all (although you may think that at first). The field - which is suitable for 7v7 or 6v6 games, has been put together by combining turf pieces of various colors, including multiple shades of green and blue. If simplicity and order is your type of vibe when it comes to pickup soccer, then this may not be the facility for you, unfortunately. 😅
If you’re a fan of wild creativity and know how to appreciate chaos, then you’ll definitely have the time of your life balling out at FSA. 🙌
League play is the most common occurrence at this facility, and it’s open for any age and skill level. Whether you’re a beginner looking to improve your skills or the Messi or Ronaldo of pickup footy, there’s a spot for you in FSA’s league play. 🏆
The best part of the leagues here is that all matches are broadcast live on YouTube, complete with exciting commentary. 🎬
