Last summer, the Plei App expanded into our 10th City, Los Angeles, California. 🎥 Another one of the pickup facilities that we have partnered with is in the region is Foothill Futbol Center, located in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Tujunga. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

You’ll find this LA County facility literally on the feet of the hills, or in other words, right at the base of Verdugo Mountains to the South, and the San Gabriel Mountains to the North. Foothill Futbol Soccer just opened their doors a few days after Christmas, so it’s fair to say that they have been quite the late Christmas present for the Tujunga/La Crescenta soccer community. 🎁
Note: The entrance to Foothill Futbol Center is located via Tujunga Canyon Place, which is connected to Foothill Boulevard and Tujunga Canyon Boulevard.
These brand new fields are all equipped with the highest quality turf, so you can expect the very best playing surface during your pickup game. One of the coolest things about Foothill Futbol is the various field configurations that are available. Don’t worry, in the next paragraph we break it down for you. 🫡
In total, there are four (4) separate 5v5 fields at your disposal. However, they can be modified as follows: any two adjacent 5v5 fields can be combined to create a 6v6/7v7 sized field. Meanwhile, three of the four 5v5 fields can be combined for a larger 8v8 or 9v9 field. This means that Foothill has three different field sizes available and four unique configurations of their turf depending on the needs of players. 🙌
Foothill Futbol Center isn’t just about soccer, though. Upon arriving at the venue you’ll notice that there is plenty of space to just hang out and take in the San Fernando Valley atmosphere and breathtaking mountain range views. And if you get hungry or thirsty, you can always stop by the concession stand and grab yourself a snack or drink to keep yourself energized and ready to ball out. 🍔🥤
If you’re looking to take your game to the next level, Foothill Futbol has you covered. Currently only offering open play and field rentals, there are plans to host camps, clinics, leagues, tournaments and even occasional special events in the near future. 💪
