Overview:

In June 2021, the Plei App expanded into our 5th City, Dallas, Texas 🤠. Since [whenever Plei began hosting games at FORO], we have been hosting pickup games at FORO Sports Club (FSC), and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Enjoy a state-of-the-art facility that makes you feel like you are stepping foot into soccer heaven. FORO Sports Club, founded in 2010, is a full-fledged sports complex near the heart of Addison where players can enjoy nine turf pickup soccer fields and a sand area with six different courts to play volleyball. This is an all-weather park!

More specifically, FORO is equipped with five 5v5/6v6/7v7 fields, two smaller fields fit for 3v3 or 4v4, one large 9v9 field, one “Stadium” field also for 9v9 games, and six volleyball sand courts. Refer to the image below for a helpful guide and also the dimensions of each field/court!

The park is well-organized and attracts athletes throughout the Dallas community to come out and play sometimes just for the quality alone. Not to mention the beautiful tree surroundings.

A big plus is that FORO’s fields can also be conveniently used for other sports such as flag football, Ultimate Frisbee, dodgeball, futsal, rugby, lacrosse, parkour and more. Take your pick!

FORO Sports Club boasts many different partnerships and branding, among those notably being Adidas, who hosts qualifying tournaments for their famous Tango League at the complex. Also, the La Liga Academy (open to ages 5-18) has recently touched down in Dallas, making FORO their official home earlier this year.

Further evidence of their versatility is that FORO features open-play (check website for unique hours), adult and youth soccer leagues and tournaments, large-scale and local events, rentals and plenty of hospitality and entertainment to elevate your footy experience.

Keep in mind that the complex limits how many players can be on their  fields at once depending on the size of the game:

  • 5v5 - 15 players
  • 6v6 - 18 players
  • 7v7 - 21 players
  • 9v9 - 35 players

FORO kindly asks that you do not access your pickup field prior to the designated time and that you sign a waiver before entering their complex.

Volleyball players or athletes intent on improving their game can join an in-depth beach program provided by NDSand, which helps participants focus on developing their skills.

Take a break at FORO’s relaxation area, where they sell soft drinks, snacks, and even beer to enjoy before or after the game. Or bring your own beer (if you’re of age, of course). Always remember that the Plei team is not liable for any consequences that may occur for cracking a cold one before your pickup match. Drink and play responsibly!

Parking can sometimes be an issue at soccer facilities, but not at FORO! There is a parking garage right across the road from the front gate of the sports complex. Designated street parking is also available if preferred. (The parking lots adjacent to the entrance are NOT public parking areas!)

Finally, FORO is a great fit for all events ranging from birthday soccer parties to major corporate events and everything in between! You’ll get field space, pinnies, balls, and even speakers to play music. Up to 30 guests can be invited, and up to 20 players can take part in the footy action! Go onto their website for further details.

Convinced yet? Give FORO Sports Club a try now! Download the Plei App now and sign up for a pickup game today.
