Back in July 2021, the Plei App continued its expansion efforts, stepping foot for the first time in our 6th market, the DMV. 🦅 Since January 2023, we have been hosting pickup games at Nova Sportsplex, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Previously known as Battlefield Sportsplex, Nova Sportsplex is one of the most renowned sports venues on the north end of Virginia, and it’s easy to see why. 🤩
Located just 30 miles away from the nation’s capital in the town of Manassas, Nova offers spaces for both baseball and soccer, providing local athletes with world-class amenities in order to get the best out of them in their respective sport. 👌
Let’s start with the footy details first. 👇
Nova boasts two (2) separate indoor artificial turf fields. Field One is their largest and is suitable for 8v8 games, while Field Two is a bit smaller and can accommodate 7-a-side encounters. Depending on how you prefer to play your pickup footy, their two fields have you covered. 🫡
Both of these soccer fields are available for rental purposes and - of course - pickup games via the Plei App throughout the week. 📲
On top of that, look forward to adult and youth leagues & tournaments year-round, all hosted by Nova. 🏆
On the baseball/softball side of things, Nova provides numerous fully equipped batting cages. ⚾🥎
