In October 2023, the Plei App expanded into our 16th City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 🔔 One of the pickup facilities that we have partnered with in the region is Phield House! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Located in the Center City region of Philadelphia, Phield House is a 25,000-square-foot indoor sports facility with plenty to offer. 😉
Phield House prides itself as being the first venue in all of Philadelphia to feature spaces for multiple sports in a welcoming, urban environment. We can’t really disagree with the statement. 😅
There are spacious courts for volleyball & basketball, batting cages for baseball & softball and state-of-the-art turf fields for football, soccer and more, so it’s really up to you to decide how you want to spend your time at Phield House. ⌚
But since we’re here to talk about all things footy, let’s get straight into that. 😎
Here you’ll find two (2) high-quality synthetic Astroturf fields. Each field measures approximately 30 yards by 15 yards, making them best suited for 5v5 games. ⚡
What’s even better is that the curtains that separate the two fields can be raised so that even larger games can be played. Talk about versatility! 🔥

So, what makes Phield House ‘urban’?
It just feels that way. The designers planned out the facility with the local Philly community in mind, and they’ve done this by providing plenty of amenities and services to ensure that they are the venue to beat in the city. 🏙️
All courts and fields are equipped with scoreboards. Bleachers are installed throughout the facility. A dedicated parking lot is available outside. A selection of refreshments and snacks are available at a concession stand for those that need to hydrate and re-energize. 🔋
