In October 2023, the Plei App expanded into our 16th City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 🔔 One of the pickup facilities that we have partnered with in the region is Revolution Field House! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬

Welcome to Revolution Field House, the newest indoor pickup venue on the block. 🆕
Opened in May 2023, this unique, multi-floor facility is here to revolutionize the beautiful game, and its calculated placement in the diverse Grays Ferry neighborhood is working in its favor.
But before we get into the entertainment side of things, let’s first give the footy details. 👇
At Revolution Field House, you’ll find a single, state-of-the-art turf synthetic field, suitable for 5v5 games. Dedicated to promoting the growth of soccer in the local community, Revolution offers various programs, ranging from youth & adult leagues to training programs and open play sessions. 💪
The field, made of material designed to mimic the feel of natural grass, is particularly eye-catching due to the minimalistic nature of its setting. Literally located in a first floor field house, you’ll notice a beautiful contrast between the white-painted walls and black industrial garage doors. ⚪⚫
Windows have been installed along the top of the garage doors to let in just enough lighting for a satisfying playing experience. For nighttime games, high-quality lighting fixtures provide plenty of visibility and minimize shadows. 💡
If the vibes of the soccer field aren’t convincing enough, maybe the entertainment aspect of things will do the trick. 😅
Revolution Field House boasts a full-fledged lounge where you can socialize and relax before or after your pickup game. This area features comfortable seating areas, with plush sofas and chairs that provide ample space for guests to sit and chat. As described on their website, the decor is sleek and contemporary, with large windows that allow plenty of natural light to flood the space. ☀️
The photos don’t do this space nearly enough justice, but at least you’ll be able to get a feel of the modern, welcoming atmosphere. 🆒
Within the lounge is a fully functional kitchen with an industrial container outside the facility equipped with a bay window so that guests can order and receive their food without even entering the building. 👌
Trust us, though, you’ll want to go inside. There’s a sports bar in this space as well, which offers a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. If you’re 21+, why not grab yourself a beer or wine and enjoy the vibes? 🍻🍷
The lounge area is equipped with high-quality audiovisual equipment, including large screen TV’s and a sound system, making this spot an ideal location to watch live soccer games and even host birthday parties, corporate events and other private events. 📺
We’ve already mentioned all of this, and we haven’t even gotten around to the second and third floors of Revolution Field House. 😅
We’ll keep it short, though, we promise.
The second floor is your very own game center, equipped with a wide range of arcade and table games, including foosball, air jockey and even VR. There’s bathrooms on this level, so no need to go back downstairs for that. 🚻
Finally, the third floor is a large, high ceiling open space for event purposes. This floor is equipped with its own exclusive mobile bar area, serving anything from cocktails to craft beers and wines. 🍸
Large windows have been installed on this level, allowing for stunning views of the surrounding South Philly area and beyond. 🏙️
