Back in July 2021, the Plei App continued its expansion efforts, stepping foot for the first time in our 6th market, DMV. 🦅 This February, we began a brand new partnership with another local facility, Rockville Sports Arena! Since our launch at this indoor complex, we have already hosted multiple pickup games, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Look no further than the Rockville Sports Arena, formerly known as the Rockville Sportsplex. With its new upgrades and renovations completed as of December 2022, this 63,000 square feet indoor facility accommodates not only pickup soccer, but also numerous other sports. 🙌
But let’s talk about the beautiful game first. At RSA, you’ll find three (3) 7v7 fields with brand new high-quality turf grass. These fields are futsal-style, meaning there’s no out of bounds because of the walls. Among other new additions are brand new lighting, bathrooms and even a mini turf training field that can be used for players to improve their skills via individual or small-group training. 💪
Aside from soccer, sports like basketball can also be played, with three courts available for all of Rockville’s local hoopers. 🏀 Whether you’re an experienced athlete or just looking to have some fun, RSA has something for everyone. Other sports like lacrosse, flag football, hockey, pickleball, volleyball and badminton are all accommodated here! 🥍🏑🏐🏸
Having this many sports accessible in one single facility is truly a testament to RSA’s goal of catering to as much of the Rockville athletic community as possible. Young or old, skilled or beginner, spectator or baller, virtually anybody in town can pull up here and have a good time. 😎
RSA is more than just a premium sports complex, though. The 63,000 sq. ft. that this venue provides can be used for everything from field rentals to birthday parties, team celebrations, corporate events and other private gatherings. Two (2) party rooms are available inside! 🥳
IMPORTANT: Before you enter the facility, all guests are required to scan into the building as part of their safety and security protocols. Whether you’re a spectator or a player, you must fill out a profile at www.yoursportspass.com before your arrival. Once completed, you’ll receive a QR code that grants you entry. This Sports Pass also doubles as a facility waiver. 📄
