In June 2021, the Plei App expanded into our 5th City, Dallas, Texas. 🤠 Another one of the pickup facilities that we have partnered with in the region is Soccer Spectrum! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Soccer Spectrum is a hybrid venue that features both indoor and outdoor spaces. Inside, you’ll find one (1) turf field for 6v6 or 5v5 play. It’s completely enclosed, so the ball does not go out. There’s also a scoreboard to keep track of the action. 🔢
Right beside the field is a full bar/restaurant, equipped with dining tables and a wide selection of drinks and food items thanks to a full kitchen menu. TVs are installed throughout this area. You’ve even got tables lined up right against the glass wall borders of the field, so you can literally sit front row for the footy fun. 👀
Speaking of being in the front row, let’s talk about outside. ⏭️
Established in 1986, Soccer Spectrum is officially the longest-running soccer facility in its region. Last year, it saw the fruits of nearly 40 years of persistence, perseverance and growth after a full-fledged renovation. 🆕
The facility now looks as modern as you can get. Brand new additions include a stunning outdoor turf field with top-of-the-line synthetic grass, which is best suited for full-size 11v11 games, but it can be split up to accommodate 9v9, 8v8 and even 7v7 games. 👌
The field is technologically advanced enough to be able to be used in any weather and not flood. Permanent lights have also been installed, which means the facility can accommodate some nighttime footy as well. 💡
Another key renovation is the addition of a covered patio bar area with front-row seats of the field. 🍻
This patio area is fully furnished and includes numerous TVs, so you can essentially catch all the action in front of you on the turf while also not missing out on the big game on the television. 📺
Aside from being a place to play some pickup soccer and hang out at, Soccer Spectrum goes above and beyond to check other boxes. ✅
They are big on league and tournament play, offering both youth and adult leagues on both their indoor and outdoor fields. They also host soccer camps and clinics, making this facility an optimal location for those looking to sharpen their skills. 💪
Soccer Spectrum’s goal is to build a facility that provides the ultimate soccer experience, combining competitive soccer and the culture of it to create unforgettable moments. 😍
