Way back in July 2019, the Plei App expanded outside Florida for the first time, partnering with multiple facilities in Houston, Texas. 🚀 Since July 2021, we have been hosting pickup games at The InDoorSoccerBox, and we are looking forward to continuing doing so for many years to come. As part of our new blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Enter The InDoorSoccerBox! During a time when the city of Houston was in need of more athletic spaces that promote healthy practices and provide quality sport experiences, this facility was a breath of fresh air.
Opened in early 2021 and located in the heart of Memorial, Texas, IndoorSoccer Box is a fully air-conditioned indoor soccer facility that provides one high-quality turf field perfect for 4v4 and 5v5 pickup games. The venue’s goal is to build a community of friends who all mutually enjoy sport and understand the core values of what it means to play the beautiful game.
Bear in mind that the field is completely surrounded by walls, so the ball does not go out, making for nonstop, fast-paced footy action!
Plenty of parking is available on-site, and free Wifi is accessible inside.
The interior of the facility is decorated with country flags, IndoorSoccerBox branding and a huge “BE SOMEONE” in black font plastered on one of the walls. While you wait for your pickup game to begin, you can catch a quick soccer tennis match on a separate small patch of turf - or play some ping-pong! Guests and friends that you bring can hang out inside as there is plenty of seating available.
The InDoorSoccerBox is also available for rent for the purposes of birthday parties, private events, product launches, corporate events, you name it. Four different packages offering varying amenities depending on the one you pick, from food/drinks, party supplies and decorations, slushie machines, chairs, tables and help setting up/cleaning up!
