In February 2022, the Plei App officially expanded into our 14th region: Detroit, Michigan. 🚗 We’ve been working hard to make sure we are consistently adding more and more regions to the Plei App, and we have once again achieved exactly that! The next facility we have partnered with is Total Sports Novi East, located about 24 miles northwest of Detroit in the suburb Novi. As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Formally known as Novi Soccer, this 75,000 square foot facility originally opened in 2007 and was later leased as one of Total Sports LLC’s nine (9) different locations throughout Michigan (primarily the Metro Detroit area) and northern Ohio. 😮
Amenities and offerings can vary depending on what location you choose to go to, but generally speaking, you’ll find a lot of the same great services that are synonymous with Total Sports. 🤟
At Novi East, you’ll find three (3) full-sized, boarded indoor soccer fields for 7v7 play. Scoreboards are equipped on each field so that you don’t have to worry about keeping mental notes of who’s winning. And, as this is a fully indoor facility, you’ll be able to ball out no matter the weather. ⛈️☀️
A common theme across all of Total Sports is how spacious their venues are, and Novi East is no different. Because of this extra space, various other sports can be played here, including baseball, softball, archery tag, volleyball, badminton, football and golf. As a result, league and tournament play for all ages is offered year-long. ⚾🏹🏸🏈⛳
The space also makes way for plenty of large bleachers to be installed in front of every field so that friends and family alike can watch you show off your tekkers. 👀
Fitness areas are also available for those looking to get a nice workout in instead of actually competing in a sport. Cardio and strength training equipment is what you’ll find in these areas, adding a real sense of versatility to Total Sports Novi East. After all, soccer and fitness go hand in hand, so you’ll want to take advantage of these services if you become a regular at this facility! 🏋️
After your pickup game or workout, why not grab some grub or something to sip on and kick back? Total Sports Novi East is equipped with a 3,000 square foot concession stand that sells food items like Benito’s Pizza and Mini Melts Ice Cream, and beverages like Pepsi, Gatorade and of course, good ol’ water. 😋🥤
Be sure to take advantage of the many seats and tables available and catch a live game on any of the flat-screen TVs installed throughout the facility. Whether you’re looking to relax away from the action or sweat while being a part of it, Novi East’s Total Sports location has got you covered. 📺
This multi-sport facility hosts over 150,000 visitors annually, and it’s easy to see why! They even allow for the hosting of any sort of private event, whether it be a birthday party, team-building activity or corporate event.
