In June 2021, the Plei App expanded into our 5th City, Dallas, Texas. 🤠 Another one of the pickup facilities that we have partnered with in the region is UMB Bank Performance Center! As part of our ongoing blog series, we will be highlighting all of our partner facilities in every region where Plei has touched down. 🛬
Introducing the UMB Bank Performance Center powered by - of course - FC Dallas. Located in the Frisco area of North Dallas, this cutting-edge facility offers two (2) fields that are perfect for 5v5 and 6v6 games, providing an ideal setting for players to showcase their skills. 👌
Trust us when we say that training and balling out this venue will make you feel like you’re a professional. The facility is equipped with top-notch amenities and incorporates the latest in sports technology. It’s truly a testament to the partnership between UMB Bank and FC Dallas, which aims to make a lasting impact on the North Texas communities through soccer development. 💥
One of the highlights of the facility is the great relaxation area where players and spectators can unwind and recharge. There’s even a concession stand that offers a variety of refreshments, including soft drinks, snacks, and even beer, allowing you to enjoy some downtime before or after your game. 🥤
The performance center reopened its doors in August 2021 under the new sponsorship of UMB Bank, having already been open for about a year to this date. It was designed to help young men and women in the DFW area enhance their soccer skills and reach their full potential. 📈
Field rentals are available at the UMB Bank Performance Center, allowing teams and individuals to utilize the state-of-the-art fields for practices, games and events. So gather your crew and catch a game on some professional-quality grass! 🌿
The facility offers various training programs tailored to different age groups and skill levels, which you can read more about below. 👇
Foundations Program (U9-U11): This introductory program emphasizes speed, technique, balance, agility and overall body strength through fun, interactive drills. Young ballers are able to choose between one-on-one sessions or small specialized group training.
Intermediate Program (U12-U14): Young teens develop crucial skills during this important developmental stage. Improve sprint technique, coordination, agility, strength, and receive mental and nutritional training through a custom periodization program.
Advanced Program (U15-U19): Elevate your game to new heights with sports-specific training. This program focuses on performance enhancement through customized periodization, video technology analysis, and comprehensive mental and nutritional training to help players get to the next level in their careers.
Speed, Strength, and Agility Performance Camp: Experience a soccer-specific program during the summer for athletes from U15 to U19 age groups. Led by the Head of Performance Coach Pinckney, this camp focuses on increasing speed, sprint technique, agility, and overall performance, all while incorporating mental training.
College Training Programs: Tailored specifically for collegiate-level athletes, these training programs address the unique demands many players face at this point in their careers. Led by former speed, strength, and conditioning college coaches, these programs enhance endurance, speed, agility, mental health and nutrition.
Private Training Sessions: Personalized instruction is available for all the above programs.
